WELLBORE DEFORMATION Our StressWell analysis tool takes wellbore geometry, rock strength and in situ stress information, and computes deformations at the wellbore. The tool can be used in conjunction with client’s information on wellbore breakouts and other induced fractures (e.g. from FMI) to constrain the magnitudes of unknown horizontal stresses. Or where stresses are well-constrained, StressWell predicts where damage should be anticipated as a result of changing wellbore or reservoir pressure.
